Around Comtat Venaissin:

  • Avignon, the Palais des Papes, the Avignon bridge, the historic center, the market halls, the cathedral and the Rocher des Doms, the theaters, the Fort Saint-André

  • L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and the antique stores, provençal market on Thursday morning and Sunday morning.

  • Le Colorado Provençal in Rustrel, the ochre path in Roussillon or the ochre mines in Gargas

  • Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, very beautiful site where the Sorgue river mysteriously arises

  • Uzès, a very nice town and the Haribo sweets museum for children, the small village of Collias

  • The city of Aigues-Mortes, its salt marshes and the landscapes of the Camargue, a wide and magic expanse of nature, inhabited by thousands of birds, white horses and black bulls.

 

Around Drôme provençale:

  • Nyons, nice typical provençal town, known for its black olives

  • The medieval village of Grignan and its castle
